# Install Apps from the App Store

TestingBot allows you to install iOS apps directly from the Apple App Store onto real iOS devices during a live testing session. This lets you test production apps without needing the source code or an .ipa file.

## How to Install an App from the App Store

To install an app from the App Store on a TestingBot device:

- Go to the [Live App Testing](https://testingbot.com/members/apps/devices/new) page
- Under **Select Source** , click **App Store**
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Search for the app you want to install
- Click **Install** and select a device to start your testing session

## Requirements

- A valid **Apple ID** is required to sign in to the App Store
- The app must be available in the App Store (not removed or region-restricted)
- Only available on **real iOS devices** (not simulators)

## Limitations

- Apps that require in-app purchases may have limited functionality during testing
- Some apps may have DRM restrictions that prevent installation on shared devices
- Your Apple ID credentials are only used during the session and are not stored by TestingBot
