# Install Apps from the Google Play Store

TestingBot allows you to install Android apps directly from the Google Play Store onto real Android devices during a live testing session. This lets you test production apps without needing the source code or an .apk file.

## How to Install an App from the Play Store

To install an app from the Google Play Store on a TestingBot device:

- Go to the [Live App Testing](https://testingbot.com/members/apps/devices/new) page
- Under **Select Source** , click **Play Store**
- Sign in with your Google account
- Search for the app you want to install
- Click **Install** and select a device to start your testing session

## Requirements

- A valid **Google account** is required to sign in to the Play Store
- The app must be available on the Google Play Store
- Only available on **real Android devices** (and some Android emulators)

## Limitations

- Some apps may not be available on all device models due to compatibility restrictions set by the developer
- Apps that require in-app purchases may have limited functionality during testing
- Your Google account credentials are only used during the session and are not stored by TestingBot
