Add a test

Instead of running your Selenium tests yourself, we can run them for you at the schedule you want with the browsers you specify.

There are 2 options to create a test in our TestLab:

Upload a test

Upload Test
  • Record your test with the IDE addon, then save the test as a .side file.
  • Upload the .side file.
  • You will now see the list of test steps on the test detail page.

Create a test

  • Go to the Codeless Automation page and click the "Create a new test" button.

  • Enter the URL you would like to test. You can optionally enable the AI assistant to generate test steps for you.
  • You can add or modify steps for your test with our test steps interface:

Settings

You can configure various settings for your test:

  • Manage timeouts, screen resolution, screenshots and videos.
  • Daily and hourly reporting of your tests via e-mail.
  • Automatically retry a failed test and if the retry succeeds, ignore the failed test.
  • Receive an alert via e-mail, push notification or text message when a test fails.
  • Test from various geographical locations

TestingBot AI

With TestingBot AI, an AI agent will inspect the page you want to test and generate test steps by extracting the most important locators and actions available on the webpage.

The AI has a limited understanding of your webpage, so manual verification of the generated test steps is required.
